The Context
Several festivals and events across the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (Europavox, Festival d'Ambert, Défi de la Muzelle, AFTERWRK) needed reliable volunteer support to run smoothly for large crowds.
What I Did
- Logistics: setup, equipment handling, and coordination between teams during live events.
- Public Reception: greeting and directing attendees, answering questions on the spot.
- Bar Management: service and stock handling under time pressure during peak hours.
Skills Developed
Working across several events under real time pressure sharpened my ability to prioritize, communicate clearly under stress, and adapt to a team I hadn't worked with before — skills that carry directly into fast-moving dev teams.
